The Doyle Assessment Project

The Doyle Engaging Difference Program at the Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship

The Doyle Faculty Fellows program focuses on inspiring pedagogical innovation and facilitating the inclusion of diverse perspectives, cultures, and life experiences in the academic classroom. The purpose of this project is to measure student and faculty outcomes from participation in a Doyle course. These outcomes are hypothesized to include (for students) the development of intercultural competence through an exposure to difference and diversity, including diverse pedagogies in class instruction and (for faculty) the benefits from faculty learning communities and varied pedagogies.
